Day 14 Moorea, French Polynesia

What a beautiful island! Amazing views as we came close. My phone was doing an update that took all night so I had to grab the best photos I could with a real camera!!!

This is a tendered port. Again, we did not book something so we found a 2-hour tour around the inner circle of the island. This seemed to be the best plan to us today. We saw the sacred eels, a vanilla farm, a sacred area that we drove by, a pineapple field, but most amazing were the views up in the mountains. Each portion of the tour was punctuated by bouncing, rolling,  and hanging on in our 4-WD truck with side seats in the back. Such a beautiful Island.

We were supposed to leave port today at 5p but ended up leaving about 5:30p. Now we have 2 days at sea and then our port of call is Pago Pago, American Samoa.
