Day 7 Kauai, Hawaii

What a beautiful sunrise this morning!

First thing this morning I went to the Internet Desk because something happened to my laptop. I could not turn it off and my tool bar was gone. I am sure Lei is tried of seeing me. However, he is very gracious. I had to press the off button for 30 seconds to make it turn off, then a restart fixed it. Phew, no big problem!

June went for breakfast while I caught up on the blog and took my shower. We stopped for a second coffee for her and my first before getting off the ship. There are free shuttles to two nearby, small, local, strip malls. It really is close enough to walk but we didn't know that at first. These little strip malls are right near Duke's and Kalapaki Beach. A lovely setting. I got a couple post cards for the granddaughters and sent them on their way. We browsed the shops and then decided to go to Duke's. I had never been there. What a treat! With the overcast day it is a bit gray but the décor in Duke's makes up for it! Some people were on the beach but not as many as I thought there would be. A lot of those from the ship took excursions. It is a lovely island, the Garden Isle as they call it. Both of us have been here before.

On the way back to the shuttle we passed by Maui Diver's of course. A little plumeria ring caught my eye. That's it for me. All the fingers I want rings on are filled!

Dinner was delicious, too late to see the show as the time changed and we didn't notice. Next stop Tahiti
