22 Days Until Boarding!
I am getting pretty excited about this cruise. I packed quite a bit in earnest today. I also decided to use a company called Luggage Forward , that was recommended by Princess Cruises. I am shipping my 26" suitcase ahead to the ship. It will be picked up January 5, and is supposed to meet me on the ship January 19! I hope it won't weigh more than the 75 lbs allowed. I can't lift it to check. Maybe they weigh it when they pick it up. It isn't terribly expensive when you consider what I may have to pay for such a heavy suitcase on the plane. I decided to take a photo of everything I packed and from the photo I will make a list if necessary. If there is an unfortunate event, I can buy almost everything I will need in Hawaii. We have two stops in the islands so there will be plenty of opportunity. The plan is a flight to LAX the day before the cruise. It is our foggy season and flights are often delayed.
